I was watching a lot of Hammer horror films when I came up with this. I could imagine this character played by someone like Caroline Munro or Valerie Leon. I was also reading some great gothic horror comics from Warren Publishing, like Creepy and Eerie Magazines. Until Star Wars came along in 1977, I think the horror was probably the most important genre for “geek culture” in the 1970s.
